Since 1989 Teacher, State College of Fine Arts (now Academy of Fine Arts) in Poznań. A professor, Head of Sign and Typography Studio. Since 2008 Dean, Graphic Faculty

Specialises in typography and theatre stage and television studio set design

Krzysztof Kochnowicz has designed studio sets for television programmes produced in the Poznań Division of TVP (Polish Telelvision), as well as a numerous theatre stage sets, for example for Antigone (Bałtycki Teatr Dramatyczny), A Small Country House (Osterwa Theatre in Gorzów Wielkopolsk), The Forefathers (Kruczkowski Theatre in Zielona Góra) and Ballads and Romances (Polski Theatre in Poznań) as well as The Dinner Game, I, Feuerbach and Noises Off (Polski Theatre in Bydgoszcz).
